Luisenhof in Dresden

As a company, we ordered the goose taxi and we are all thrilled! Excellent food, delivered on time, with a very tasty red wine. The little glasses with the homemade goose fat are a very nice treat. Thanks again to the uncomplicated team at the Luisenhof! We sincerely hope that you are coping well with these special times.

The Luisenhof at the mountain railway in Dresden really has the most beautiful location. You should park a bit away or take the shuttle up the mountain. It is very classy and modern. The food is very good and fresh. Everyone will find something in their taste and price. The service is very nice and accommodating. But unfortunately I wanted a more personal approach and attention to detail.

The Luisenhof is a traditional restaurant with a really nice view over Dresden and therefore popular with locals and tourists alike. The ambience is modern, yet cozy and well equipped, especially for families (play corner, baby changing room, children's menu). The menu promises a mix of home cooking and new creations. The food tastes average and the high price is justified more by the great view and the staff, who are consistently friendly.

Stylish restaurant and cafe in a noble location with a spectacular view of the Elbe and Dresden. We had very tasty meat dishes that were deliciously presented. There is still room for improvement when it comes to the warmth of the food and coffee.

Actually everything fits here. A balanced triad of view, food and price. Dishes that are made by hand and taste delicious with them. Attentive staff and a spacious floor plan. And now to the "actually": There is a star deduction for the cake. The level does not match the rest. What a shame! Here you should think about pâtisserie - a range of fine cakes framed with fine biscuits and confectionery. Those who stop there for coffee also want to enjoy the view with something special. So, if the cake does not come from your own home, then I recommend changing the pastry chef.

The food was okay, the staff very polite and accommodating. Despite its modern design, the restaurant has a slightly dusty excursion character. The view, however, is excellent!

I would definitely recommend a visit. If you want to eat inexpensive, tasty and relaxed, this is the place for you, with a wonderful view you will also be spoiled! The food was great and inexpensive. The view is unique! Can't understand the couple of bad reviews. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

An unbeatable and wonderful view. Great and warm welcome, very hard-working and friendly service. Except for the duck, the food was fabulous and absolutely recommendable. We deduct one point for the rubbery duck and the forgotten menu card for our third person.

The restaurant is wonderfully picturesquely situated above the roofs of Dresden. The view from the terrace is indescribable. The staff is very friendly and quick. The kitchen works quickly but is still very tasty and the plates are set up with a lot of love and dedication. All in all very recommendable. The star deduction applies to the prices, which I personally consider to be too high, considering the size of the portions.

A must in Dresden. Very nice restaurant in a stylish ambience with a stunning view over Dresden. The selection of dishes is very good, nicely presented and tasty, the wine selection is fabulous. We only found the selection of desserts to be too tight. The staff is super friendly, humorous and accommodating We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Wonderful, attentive service and delicious food

Fine ambience, really very good cuisine, friendly and careful staff and a dream view of Dresden and the Eastern Ore Mountains. There is also a play area for the little ones and, when the weather is nice, a small playground. The Luisenhof is not called the balcony of Dresden for nothing.

Nice, quite elegant restaurant with a magnificent view of Dresden from the outside terrace in good weather. The food was also very good, only vegetarians may find the selection limited. The service also left absolutely nothing to be desired. The prices were reasonable, if not quite cheap.

A location with a great view. Make sure to use the correct cabletrain otherwise it is a very challenging walk. The menu is ok and the service too.

Very nice place and beautiful view

That place is my top choice when it comes to restaurants in Dresden. The food is very well made and the selection offers a variety of German, Saxon and Central European specialties. The wine menu offers selection of local wines from the Elbe river valley. But what really makes the icing on the cake, is the awesome view over the Elbe river up to the mid-range mountains bordering to the Czech Republic. I just love this place ...

Great view to Dresden from a good upper-quality restaurant made out feom the premises of a former villa, OK selection of food, the interior does not match the view, but the staff very attentive and polite.

Nice location with beautiful views of Dresden. Contemporary German cuisine. Staff is friendly and quick. Interior design is modern and the layout is very spacious. Four kids they have a luxurious play corner, high chairs, and a menu that is also a coloring book. Inside it is best to geta table on the huge windows with the view. These tables cannot be booked in advance. On the terrace, the view is pretty much everywhere. It adds a lot to the experience when you get there with the 'Standseilbahn'.

Beautiful view, tasty cakes. We were 5 and had to wait for a tablev15 mins on Saturday afternoon. Its worth to book a table.

Food was delicious, waiting time was ok. We ordered a beer to a waiter and they forgot it, I suppose because we were attended by another waitress. When we booked by telephone and email, we asked for a table with view and we received a table just in a corner with almost no view.
